This multi-stage quest invites truck drivers with a clean C+E license, regardless of their vehicle marque, to showcase their skills and knowledge. The competition kicks off with an online evaluation, testing road knowledge and industry insights.

Selected contenders will then battle it out in ten regional heats across the UK and Ireland, vying for a coveted spot among the final 20 drivers. These elite finalists will engage in challenging practical and knowledge-based assessments, aiming to be crowned the DAF UK and Ireland Driver Champion.

Under the expert guidance of DAF driving maestros Mandy Wannerton and Ron Smith, participants will tackle on- and off-road challenges, proving their mettle in every aspect of professional driving life. The ultimate victor will not only claim the national title but will also advance to the Europe-wide DAF Driver Challenge in 2025.

Phil Moon, Marketing Manager at DAF Trucks, emphasises, “It’s a tough evaluation of all aspects of life as a professional driver. The winner can justly claim to be the best of the best – regardless of the make and model of their own vehicle.”
