HTC Group proudly joined DAF Apprenticeships in celebrating the achievements of the graduating Class of 2024 and honouring the Apprentice of the Year award recipients! Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, the evening was an exciting occasion filled with pride as apprentices, joined by their families, mentors, and members of the DAF Dealer Network, gathered to commemorate this special milestone.
This year, more than 100 newly qualified DAF Technicians officially joined the DAF Dealer Network, the largest graduating class in the program’s history! Among them, HTC Group is especially proud of graduates like William Fowler, William Baker, Hedrh Alseed, Kevin Pontin, Jack Bailey and Radheed Walker who have each demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, embodying the high standards of the DAF apprenticeship program.
HTC Group is thrilled to recognise the exceptional achievements of its apprentices, particularly those who excelled in the Apprentice of the Year competition. Special congratulations go out to William Fowler from HTC Shoreham, who earned 2nd place in the third-year category. His manager, Chris Marden, expressed pride in William’s accomplishments, emphasising the commitment and hard work he’s shown throughout his training.
Additionally, Hedrh Alseed from HTC Oxford achieved 1st place in the Year 2 Apprentice of the Year award. Martin Clark, Service Manager at HTC Oxford, praised Hedrh’s outstanding dedication:
“Everyone at HTC Oxford would like to congratulate Hedrh for his 1st place in this year’s Apprentice of the Year award (Year 2). Hedrh has worked very hard at college and in the workshop and truly deserves this recognition.”
Luke Mason, Managing Director, reflected on the value apprentices bring to HTC’s future, saying:
“The apprentices are the future of our business, contributing to its growth year after year. Their outstanding attitude toward learning is truly commendable, and it’s great to see this dedication recognised by DAF Trucks.”
